Benefits
See your inventory without being there
You control what you have and its status inside our warehouse without depending on someone sending you a report at end of day — decisive when you are managing the operation from abroad.
Rent it, don't buy it
You access the system under a rental model, with no licensing of your own, no implementation from scratch and no infrastructure to maintain.
Tied to the real operation
The WMS is the same system that manages the warehouse's integrated logistics services, so what you see reflects what happens on the floor.
Outsourcing logistics carries a quiet cost: loss of visibility. Once merchandise leaves your hands, knowing what is there, where it sits and what was done to it depends on someone on the other side sending you a report — usually late and usually in a spreadsheet. When that other side is in another country and another time zone, the gap widens.
At Hau Can Park we operate a dedicated WMS (Warehouse Management System) to manage integrated logistics services in our warehouse, where you can control your inventory according to the operations you run. It is offered under a rental model.
What a WMS is
A Warehouse Management System governs the movement of merchandise inside a facility. Unlike accounting inventory control, it does not answer how much do I have but where is it, in what condition, and what has been done to it.
That distinction separates a warehouse that knows from one that assumes.
WMS versus ERP
This is the most common confusion, and they are not substitutes:
| ERP | WMS | |
|---|---|---|
| What it records | Quantities and accounting values | Physical movement inside the warehouse |
| Question it answers | How much inventory do I have and what is it worth? | Where is it and what was done to it? |
| Typical user | Finance, procurement, management | Warehouse operations |
They coexist: the ERP keeps the inventory's accounting; the WMS keeps its physical reality.
Why rent instead of implement
Implementing your own WMS means licensing, infrastructure, location mapping, rule configuration and training — a project in its own right, with its own timeline and budget. For a company whose Mexican operation is still being established, that is a poor place to spend the first year.
Under a rental model you access the system already managing our warehouse's integrated logistics services. There is no implementation from scratch because the system is already running: what gets enabled is your visibility into your inventory.
Which models it pairs with
Visibility matters more the less physical control you have:
- With the 3PL/4PL service, where we store, configure and ship your merchandise
- With flexible rental by pallet position, where knowing how many positions you occupy is directly the figure that determines your cost
- With value-added services, to keep a record of what was done to the goods before they shipped
Available at both San Luis Potosí and Querétaro.
